History
1999:
Conscius is founded by Bettina Egerland and René Nejsum.
From the outset, the focus is on web-based software development,
where each solution adapted to the customers. The customers are
from various sectors.
2003:
Conscius chooses to focus on the financial industry and
provides a portal system, CMD, to the SDC Scandinavian Data
Central, which is the main data center including approx. 70 of

and components, as well as offering customized templates.
2006:

enable the banks to provide rate data on the website, home
banking site and their intranet. Later, MarketShare becomes
independent from CMD and becomes a stand-alone
product.
2007:
René Nejsum leaves Conscius, which is now run by Bettina
Egerland.
Conscius
specialises in further development of products to the finacial
sector. The core product becomes MarketShare, as an investment
univers for banks and their customers.
2008:
Conscius sells off the independent business unit, Conscius
Logistics, which delivered procedure software for this industry.
Attorney Anders Hjulmand enters as chairman of the Conscius
board.
2009:
Conscius celebrates its 10th anniversary.
The financial crisis triggers caution in the
financial sector and Conscius enters into the energy trade
sector. Here demand is strong for digitization and effectiveness
of business procedure both internally and with the
customers.
2010:
The company continues to grow steadily and Conscius starts strategy planning to widen reach beyond the Danish borders. Great synergy has been achieved in developing products for both the financial sector and the Energy sector.
